The Handsworth Sword Dancers are the hosts for the Sword Dance Union (SDU) Longsword Competition in  Sheffield in October 2023.

A full day of longsword dancing from the country’s top purveyors of the tradition around high-profile, city-centre display spots is expected. There will also be lovely competition venues, pub stops and an evening folk extravaganza, including reasonably priced bar!
